What Happens After You Hire Maximo Flooring & Remodeling
HOME / Our Process

A Clear, Organized Remodeling Process — From First Day to Final Walkthrough
Remodeling your home should feel exciting, not stressful. Our company follows a structured step-by-step system so you always know what is happening, who is coming to your home, and what comes next.
1. Welcome & Project Setup
Once your proposal is approved, your project officially enters our production schedule.
- A confirmed project start window
- Your assigned Project Manager
- Office contact information
- Communication preferences (text, call, or email)
Your Project Manager becomes your main point of contact. You will never need to coordinate trades or chase subcontractors.

2. Pre-Construction Meeting
Before any work begins, we schedule a pre-construction meeting at your home.
During this visit we review:
- Final measurements
- Material selections
- Cabinet and fixture locations
- Plumbing and electrical points
- Access to the property
- Protection plan for surrounding areas
We verify every detail before demolition so construction runs smoothly without unexpected changes.
3. Ordering Materials & Scheduling
After confirmation, we immediately order all materials and coordinate delivery timelines.
We monitor:
- Cabinets
- Tile
- Flooring
- Countertops
- Plumbing fixtures
- Specialty items
We do not begin construction until materials are confirmed available. This prevents projects from stopping midway due to backorders.

4. Preparing Your Home
Before demolition, our team prepares the home carefully.
We install protection for:
- Floors and carpets
- Adjacent rooms
- Furniture pathways
- HVAC vents
- Entry routes used by workers
Our crews work inside lived-in homes daily. Cleanliness and respect for your home are a priority.
5. Construction Phase
Every remodeling project follows an organized sequence:
- Demolition
- Rough plumbing and electrical work
- Required inspections (when applicable)
- Wall preparation and repairs
- Installation of cabinets, tile, and flooring
- Countertop installation
- Fixture installation and trim work
- Final detailing
Your Project Manager provides regular updates and remains available throughout the project.

6. Change Orders
Sometimes homeowners decide to upgrade or modify selections during construction.
When this happens:
- We provide a written change order
- You receive price and time adjustments
- Work proceeds only after your approval
No additional work is performed without authorization. This protects both you and the project timeline.
7. Clean-Up & Final Walkthrough
After installation is complete, we perform a detailed cleaning and inspection.
We then schedule a walkthrough with you to:
- Review all completed work
- Test fixtures and appliances
- Create a final punch list if needed
We do not consider a project complete until you approve the finished space.

8. Warranty & After-Care
Your project is backed by our workmanship warranty.
If normal settling occurs or adjustments are needed:
- We return
- We evaluate
- We correct the issue
You will also receive care and maintenance recommendations for your materials.
9. Final Documentation
At completion you receive:
- Final invoice
- Warranty documentation
- Product care instructions
- Project photos for your records
Proper documentation can also help with resale value and insurance records

Ready to Plan Your Project?
We will walk through your home with you, discuss ideas, budget expectations, and provide professional recommendations — before any commitment.
